Public sector housing dominates the question paper for next week's sitting of Tynwald.

MLC David Cretney will put a number of questions to Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer about vacant and void properties in Douglas.

Mr Cretney revealed last month that he had tried to get the details directly from Douglas Borough Council, but the local authority turned down his request.

The former Douglas South MHK will also ask about the structure of housing in Douglas, and about the deficits made by housing authorities across the Island.

Douglas North MHK David Ashford has tabled questions about the 2% rise in public sector rent which was announced last week, and how the Department calculates the £4.1m deficit it expects to record on housing this year.

Mr Harmer will provide the details when Tynwald sits on Tuesday.
