Two of the Island's iconic structures will be lit green as part of a Samaritans campaign next week.

From Monday, the Tower of Refuge and Ramsey Swingbridge will both be bathed in green light in the run up to Christmas.

It's part of a campaign to encourage those who struggle of the festive period to get in touch with Samaritans.

Buildings throughout Britain will turn green as part to raise awareness throughout the UK as well, including Blackpool Tower, Liverpool Town Hall and Ashton Memorial in Lancashire.

Samaritans volunteers can be contacted any time of day on 116123.
