Man hospitalised following Douglas assault

A man is being treated in hospital following an alleged assault in Douglas.

The male sustained significant facial injuries and head injuries as a result of the incident on Empress Drive on Saturday night.

Police say two people were arrested at the scene and are helping with their investigation.

However, officers are still keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at around 11.40pm on Saturday and saw what happened.
