Defibrillator installed at car park

A defibrillator is now available at a car park in Douglas town centre.

Douglas Borough Council and Craig's Heartstrong Foundation teamed up to install an automatic external defibrillator at Shaw's Brow on Barrack Street.

The Council has also trained staff to use the device, which increases the chance of survival for those suffering a cardiac arrest.

The local authority and charity also provided a defibrillator for Noble's Park earlier this year, in addition to devices at Douglas Town Hall, Douglas Golf Course and the Henry Bloom Noble Library.
