A fisherman from Douglas plans to launch his own business and put a deposit on a house after a big scratchcard win.

Aaron Dickinson won £250,000 on a £2 Navy Scratchcard bought from Spar in Douglas earlier this month.

Mr Dickinson initially thought he'd won back his £2 stake before mistakenly believing he'd won £250, then realised the true extent of his prize.

The 25-year-old revealed he plans to spend the money on a boat to set up his own fishing business, as well as looking for his first home and going travelling.
