Met Office warns of wintry showers

The Isle of Man Met Office is warning that wintry showers are expected to hit the Island over the next few days.

Meteorologists at Ronaldsway have issued a yellow warning effective from 6pm today until midnight on Saturday.

Forecasters are predicting strong to gale force winds, as well as wintry showers from this evening, becoming more widespread and frequent later in the week.

The Met Office expects it will be issuing further warnings is the coming days.
