No suspicious circumstances after woman found unconscious

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances after a woman was found unconscious in Douglas earlier today.

She was discovered on Primrose Avenue at around 6am by a member of the public and taken to hospital.

The road was closed for a couple of hours while investigations were carried out, with the female initially described as in a serious condition.

Officers say the woman is now awake and responsive, and that the matter is no longer under investigation.
