Chief Minister insists Island ready for new UK Government

The Chief Minister insists the Island is ready whatever the result of the UK's upcoming General Election.

British Prime Minister Theresa May announced that the UK will go to the polls on June 8th in a snap election.

Howard Quayle has emphasised the importance of building on the Isle of Man's relationship with the United Kingdom since taking up his role, particularly in the wake of Brexit.

Mr Quayle insists the Manx Government has been making connections across UK political parties so will be able to work with the next British Government, regardless of the outcome.
