Saturday practices added, first race moved to Sunday

Thu, 01 Jun 2017

The first race of this year's Isle of Man TT won't take place until Sunday.

The weather has prevented riders getting enough time on the course during practice week, so additional qualifying laps will take place on Saturday instead of the scheduled Superbike and Sidecar races.

The six-lap Superbike race will now be on Sunday, as well as practice for the sidecars and TT Zero machines.

The first of the sidecar races has been added to Monday's schedule, while Monday's Superstock race has been pushed back to Tuesday, when a Lightweight and TT Zero lap practice will also go ahead, as well as further practice time for the sidecars.

Full details of the new schedule can be found on the Isle of Man TT website.
