Unemployment falls in May

The number of unemployed people on the Isle of Man fell last month.

According to Government statistics, 440 people were out of work at the end of May - a fall of 22 compared with April's figures.

The number is also 223 fewer than at the same time last year, and gives the Island an unemployment rate of 1%.

The number is the lowest since October 2004.
