The Manx Government is looking for companies interested in developing the former RAF camp in Jurby.

The Department of Infrastructure believes the site, which is just short of 25 acres in size, could accommodate substantial development schemes.

Any development would need to go through the planning process, but the Department says it will consider a range of proposals, including development of the whole site, smaller construction projects, self-build plots and affordable housing.

However, the DoI insists it's just testing the water to see if there is any interest at this stage.

The site was previously occupied by RAF operational and ancillary buildings, but the station closed in 1963.
