Manx cyclist Anna Christian is the under-23 women's British time trial champion.

The Drops Cycling rider was the fastest of the young cyclists in this morning's women's time trial on the Isle of Man.

The under-23 event was run at the same time as the elite women's contest, with Christian leading overall with just a few riders left to finish.

However, Claire Rose posted the quickest time of the day late on to take the elite crown ahead of reigning women's road race champion Hannah Barnes, while Christian was seventh overall.

Anna's brother Mark is among a number of Manx cyclists involved in the men's time trial later today.
