Castletown to elect new commissioner in August

Castletown Town Commissioners will hold an election to fill a vacant seat on the board next month.

The local authority revealed James Barrow was stepping down from the Commissioners last month.

The Commissioners have now confirmed an election will be held on August 17th if more than one candidate comes forward.

Candidates have until Thursday next week to submit their nomination papers to Castletown Town Hall.
