DoI to introduce daily horse tram clean-up

The Department of Infrastructure will be sweeping the horse tram lines daily in the near future.

The Infrastructure Minister revealed in this month's sitting of Tynwald that the Department has recently acquired a sweeper to clean up horse excrement on a daily basis.

Ray Harmer admitted the DoI needed to make arrangements after taking charge of the horse trams.

The statement comes following a query from Douglas East MHK Clare Bettison.
