Around 400 Manx students await A level results

Thu, 17 Aug 2017

Around 400 students from the Isle of Man will receive their A level results today.

Pupils at the Department of Education and Children's secondary schools as well as the University College Isle of Man sat exams in around 40 subjects earlier this year.

The Department will release details of the Island's pass rate later today, which will only include the results of post-16 pupils, not mature students and those in other colleges and independent schools.

The Department is advising all students to collect their results in person and have their UCAS letters and numbers with them if they are planning to go to university.

For those who need to secure a university place through clearing, an app tracking available places is available for iPhone and Android users.
