Yesterday's schedule was called off due to wet roads and poor visibility.

An extra day of racing at the Festival of Motorcycling will take place today after weather disrupted yesterday's schedule.

Organisers were forced to abandon Monday's planned racing due to saturated roads and poor visibility around the course.

As a result, the TT course will shut at 11.30 this morning, before the Junior Classic TT Race gets underway at midday.

The Superbike Classic TT goes at 2.40pm, while the Manx Grand Prix Newcomers race gets underway at 6.15 this evening.

The roads will open between 5pm and 6pm to allow those finishing work to travel home, while there will also be a Steve Plater Honda Parade Lap and a Classic TT Retro Parade.

The final race of the day will be followed by a practice lap for the Manx Grand Prix Junior and Lightweight classes, with roads expected to re-open from 8.10pm, and no later than 9pm.
