Over £360,000 spent on roads for TT fortnight

Over £360,000 was spent on preparing and maintaining the roads during this year's TT.

The Department of Infrastructure used £363,785 on resurfacing work, erecting signage, cones and staffing the access road for the fortnight.

Almost half of the spend went on resurfacing the Bungalow, while a further £91,250 went on works at Alpine Corner and the Sulby Straight.

Removing and replacing cones cost over £85,000, while it cost nearly £4,000 to erect signs and replace damaged ones.
