The Queen's Baton will be travelling around the Isle of Man today as part of the preparations for next year's Commonwealth Games in Australia.

The baton arrived in the Isle of Man yesterday, and will begin today's tour at the NSC this morning.

At lunchtime there will be a walking relay through Laxey Village, before the baton travels along Douglas Promenade on a horse tram.

The baton will visit local businesses in Strand Street before heading south to Cregneash, finishing the day with a jogging relay to the Sound.

The full schedule can be found on the Isle of Man Commonwealth Games Association's website.
