MHK seeks bowel cancer screening details

An MHK is seeking details about bowel cancer screening on the Isle of Man.

Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson has asked Health Minister Kate Beecroft how many screening kits have been sent out in the last three years in this month's Tynwald questions.

Dr Allinson also wants to know how many were requested by those over 75 years old, how many positive results were confirmed as cancer and when the Department of Health and Social Care will switch to a new sample system.

This month's Tynwald answers will be published in writing while the Island's parliament is still on its annual recess.
