Emergency services dealing with chemical spillage

Emergency services are currently dealing with chemical spillage in the south of the Island.

Police and fire crews were called to the Station Garage on Victoria Road in Castletown at just after 11:15am.

The road is closed and nearby residents are being urged to close their windows as a precaution.

Fire crews on scene say the incident is a minor chemical spillage and has been contained.

The fire brigade have confirmed that there is no risk to anyone in or around the area of Victoria Road School
