ManxSPCA holding birthday party for abandoned puppies

Fri, 29 Sep 2017

An animal charity is holding a birthday party this weekend for four puppies who were found abandoned in the north of the Island.

The puppies were in a critical condition when they were discovered dumped in a tied up plastic bag in October last year.

The Manx Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals cared for the canines for nine weeks before they were rehomed shortly before Christmas.

The ManxSPCA has invited the four dogs back to their play barn, along with the police officers involved in the investigation after they were abandoned to celebrate their first birthday on Sunday.

The public are also welcome to attend to meet the puppies, while each dog who attends will receive a dog cupcake and party bag.
