Island's inflation rate rises to 4.2%

Mon, 09 Oct 2017

The Isle of Man's inflation rate increased to 4.2% during September.

The Consumer Prices Index rose by 0.1% last month after falling in August.

The Government says the increase is due to transport, with Brent oil prices and air travel both rising in cost.

Other fuels, coffee and multivitamin tablets also saw significant price increases over the last 12 months.
