Police urge parents to be vigilant after youths throw eggs

Thu, 26 Oct 2017

Police are appealing for parents to be vigilant following reports of youths egging houses in Willaston and Onchan.

The Central Neighbourhood Policing Team received a number of calls from residents being targeted by youngsters in both areas yesterday.

Officers say such activities can cause distress, especially to vulnerable residents, and are calling for parents to be aware of their children's activities.

The Manx Constabulary called for those taking part in Hop-tu-Naa activities to respect people's right not to participate, while some shops are restricting the sale of flour and eggs to youngsters in to run up to October 31st.
