Protest against Manx Gas charges next week

A group campaigning for the Island's gas supplier to change its pricing structure will hold a protest next week.

The campaigners will hold their final protest of the year outside Manx Gas's offices on South Quay at 1pm next Monday.

The group is against the way the supplier applies banded standing charges to its customers' bills.

Manx Gas insists it's standing charges mean lower bills during winter months, helping spread the cost of gas throughout the year.
