Met Office warns of snow and ice

Wed, 06 Dec 2017

The Island's meteorologists are warning snow and ice could hit the Isle of Man tomorrow.

The met office at Ronaldsway has issued a yellow warning for snow and ice from 9pm tomorrow through to 9am on Sunday.

The warning states there will be scattered wintry showers arriving later on Thursday, becoming heavy at times.

The showers will become more widespread on Friday, resulting in moderate coverage in some places.

Forecasters also expect ice to be a problem until early Sunday, before conditions begin to improve.
