Police investigate assault in Douglas bar

Police are appealing for information following an assault in a Douglas bar.

The incident happened between 12.30am and 12.45am on Sunday in the upstairs bar area in The Courthouse on Athol Street.

A man wearing a dark pink jumper and blue jeans was assaulted by an unknown male, leaving him in severe pain and with a bleeding nose.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has other information that could help their investigation.
