Elderly pedestrian seriously injured in Glencrutchery Road crash

An 81-year-old woman is in a serious condition in hospital following a collision in Douglas.

The elderly pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Glencrutchery Road near its junction with Dukes Avenue shortly before 1pm today.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the incident to come forward.

Those who witnessed the incident are asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 631212.
