Coastal overtopping warning from Met Office

The Met Office is warning waves could break over the Island's coastal roads and promenades at high tide today.

A yellow weather warning is in place until 6pm with slight to moderate coastal overtopping expected.

Meteorologists expect Shore Road in Rushen, Fenella Beach in Peel, Castletown Promenade and the northern end of Douglas Promenade will be worst affected, with debris also expected.

High tide is shortly after 4pm.
