Man assaulted at bus stop

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an assault at a bus stop in Douglas.

The incident happened between 6.45pm and 7.15pm on Sunday at the bus stop next to the Brown Bobby filling station on Peel Road.

A man was stood at the bus stop when he was assaulted, leaving him with injuries.

Officers believe those responsible walked away from the area towards Pulrose Bridge.
