Manx Wildlife Trust monitoring seal with rope around neck

Beach Buddies spotted the seal at The Sound on Friday

A local charity admits it will be difficult to help a seal spotted with a rope around its neck.

The Manx Wildlife Trust was called in after volunteers from Beach Buddies Isle of Man saw the seal at The Sound on Friday.

The Trust has been to the area to investigate, but says it's almost impossible to catch a seal even in this condition.

The organisation will continue to monitor the situation and intervene if possible.
