Police warn of scam calls targeting Manx residents

Fri, 02 Feb 2018

Scammers are calling Manx residents pretending to be officers from the Isle of Man Constabulary.

The caller tells the victim a person has been arrested with their financial documents and bank cards.

The recipient of the call is then told their details could be used in crime.

The Constabulary is warning anyone who receives such a call not to give out their personal or bank details to unknown callers even if they sound honest.
