Seal video prompts MSPCA to issue private sign reminder

A local animal charity is appealing for visitors to respect its signs after a member of the public shared a video of themselves hand feeding a seal.

The visitor had disregarded signs warning there was no public access to the seals to enter the enclosure and take the video.

The ManxSPCA says this is a serious matter as the seals are looked after by experienced staff for rehabilition, and aren't on view to the public.

The charity is urging anyone who isn't sure to ask a member of staff before entering an area.
