Police praise boy for calling emergency services to help mum

The Island's police have praised the actions of a young boy who contacted the emergency services after his mum got trapped.

Officers in the south of the Island responded this morning after the six-year-old called 999.

His mother had accidentally locked herself in the bathroom.

Police say the boy was very calm and brave while waiting for officers to arrive and looking after his baby brother.
