Witnesses sought following alleged assault

Police are appealing for information following an alleged assault on a woman in the west of the Island.

The incident happened as a group of young people got out of a taxi in the Ballacraine area of St John's shortly before midnight on Sunday.

Officers from the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
