Two weather warnings in place

Thu, 01 Mar 2018

Two weather warnings are in place today as Storm Emma brings severe gale force winds and freezing temperatures to the Isle of Man.

A yellow warning for snow and ice remains in place until this afternoon, while a new warning of coastal overtopping has been issued.

Ronaldsway Met Office warns waves could come over the coastal roads between this morning and Saturday afternoon.

Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey are the areas likely to be worst affected, with waves and some debris coming onto the promenades at high tide.
