Manx Police have made an appeal to the public not to speculate over the death of 10 year old boy from Foxdale.

Jack Whorrall died on Thursday 22nd February and his death is being treated as unexplained.

Detective Inspector Neil Craig told the media that Jack’s death, is not being treated as suspicious, but a report is being awaited from Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. This investigation is being conducted by the police on behalf of the Coroner of Inquests.

He went on to say that he'd like to request that consideration be given to the impact that such speculation may be directly having on Jack’s family and friends at this very difficult time.

Enquiries are continuing.
