Police investigate damage at primary school

Tue, 13 Mar 2018

Police are appealing for information after damage was caused at one of the Island's schools.

A bench was upturned, an overflow pipe broken, sharp plastic left on the ground and empty cans of lager and cigarette ends left at Victoria Road Primary School in Castletown.

The incident happened between 5pm on Friday and 8am yesterday.

Officers from the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team say this is unacceptable behaviour and not what children should see when they arrive at school.

Anyone who saw or heard something relevant to the police's investigation is urged to contact Castletown Police Station on 822222.
