Police urge fly-tipper to come forward

Police are urging the person responsible for fly-tipping and setting fire to a sofa to come forward.

Officers in the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team say they're aware of registration number of the vehicle responsible for dumping the sofa.

The sofa was abandoned and burned in the picnic area on Glen Rushen Road - an area which is popular with dog walkers.

Officers are appealing for the person to admit the offence by contacting Peel Police Station on 842208.
