Michael Rutter joins Mugen for TT Zero

Fri, 27 Apr 2018

Team Mugen has announced Michael Rutter will join the team for this year's TT Zero.

The team previously revealed it would enter three bikes into the electric race, but has changed its plans after two of its riders were forced to pull out.

Bruce Anstey won't race this year due to a serious illness, while Mugen confirmed John McGuinness also misses out after re-fracturing his leg.

As a result, Rutter, who is a three-time TT Zero winner, joins Lee Johnston at the team.

Mugen will be looking to win the zero emissions race for the fifth straight year at this year's TT.
