MLC to make Abortion Bill statement

A statement on the Abortion Reform Bill will be made in this morning's sitting of the Legislative Council.

The proposals passed the third reading in last week's House of Keys sitting, so will now be considered by the upper branch.

Before the LegCo members consider the new laws, Bill Henderson will make a statement on Dr Alex Allinson's Bill.

The changes would give more women access to abortion services without having to travel off Island.
