Merseyside Police issue advice to TT visitors

Police in the UK are issuing advice to bikers heading to the Isle of Man for TT.

Merseyside Police are hoping to raise awareness of the risks of motorbike thefts for those arriving in Liverpool before getting the ferry to Douglas.

Last year, 22 bikes were stolen from outside hotels in Liverpool City Centre in the build up to TT.

Police officers will be sharing crime prevention advice with those staying in the city before heading to the Island, as well as raising awareness of motorbike security.
