Witnesses sought to altercation in Port Erin

Police are investigating an altercation between two women in Port Erin which resulted in an older lady being assaulted.

The incident happened at around 5pm on Friday on St Catherine's Terrace, leaving the older woman shaken and upset.

Officers are keen to speak to the other female involved, who is described as being in her 40s, wearing a long, baggy purple jumper and with a brown Labrador-type dog.

Anyone who saw the altercation or can help police identify the woman is urged to contact Castletown Police Station on 822222.
