Police warn drink driving won't be tolerated

The Island's Roads Policing Unit warns drink driving will not be tolerated after a local resident was caught over the limit.

A driver was arrested after being stopped by patrols yesterday evening.

Officers have also been stationed at the Sea Terminal with breathalysers to check those arriving on the Island haven't consumed too much alcohol before riding or driving off the ferry.

The RPU says drink driving isn't acceptable at any time and they will go out of their way to seek out and arrest those who drink drive.
