Man finds drunk stranger asleep in van

The police are urging motorists to keep their vehicles locked after a van driver found a stranger asleep in his vehicle.

The man returned to his van and drove off, waking the drunk stranger who had been asleep in the back.

Officers from the Isle of Man Constabulary were called to the incident near Police Headquarters this morning.

Police advise drivers to keep their vehicles secured and members of the public not to sleep in other peoples vans.
