Douglas lifeboat crew was launched following reports of a person shouting for help on the cliffs at Marine Drive.

A member of the public heard what they thought was someone calling for help in the Little Ness area on Sunday evening.

The RNLI team conducted a shoreline search from Little Ness to Keristal while Coastguard members searched from the land, but nothing could be found.

The lifeboat crew says the call was one of good intent.
