Thu, 28 Jun 2018

Over £2.2m has been spent on IT supplies for students at the Island's schools over the last four years.

The Department of Education, Sport and Culture revealed it's spent £2.2m on IT hardware since the 2014-15 financial year, including £1.3m on desktops and iMacs.

Last year saw the highest spent on IT, with almost £826,000 used to fund hardware in the 2017-18 period - almost double the amount used in the previous year.

The figures were revealed in this week's sitting of the House of Keys.
