Wednesday was Island's hottest June day on record

Yesterday was the hottest June day on record on the Isle of Man.

Meteorologists at the Isle of Man Airport confirmed temperatures reached 27.5°C at Ronaldsway.

The figure is the highest ever recorded at the weather station during the month of June.
