Fire crews rescue injured person on Douglas promenade

Fire crews were called out to rescue an injured person on Douglas promenade.

The person had fallen into the sea wall ledge on Loch Promenade, resulting in a callout for Douglas firefighters at 12.40am.

The team had to remove a section of the railing to allow the ambulance service to treat the casualty.

The emergency services remained at the scene for around 40 minutes.
