Witnesses sought after crash between police vehicle, van

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a crash between a police vehicle and a van at Ballacraine.

The two vehicles collided at the crossroads shortly after 7.35pm on Sunday, resulting in the junction being closed for several hours.

The driver of the police vehicle and the other vehicle, which was a van of a similar size, were both left shaken but not seriously injured as a result of the incident.

Police are keen to speak to anyone was in the area and may have seen what happened.
