Steam Packet finalising Ben-my-Chree repairs

The Steam Packet Company is finalising repairs to the Ben-my-Chree.

This morning's 8.45am crossing to Heysham was delayed while engineers finished work on the vessel and carried out engine tests.

The Ben has been out of service since suffering a turbocharger failure and fire in the engine room on Saturday morning.

The ferry operator will publish an updated schedule for today's crossings shortly.
